Combined vessels: lower decks — Ro-Ro (trailers, machinery), upper deck — containers (gamit ang cranes o STS). Maximum flexibility.
Routes: Europe ↔ West Africa (Grimaldi — pinakamalaking operator), Mediterranean, Caribbean. Crew — 20–26 katao.

Ro-Lo (Ro-Ro + Lift-on/Lift-off)
Mga barkong may ramp + sariling cranes. Karga: trailers + breakbulk + project cargo. Malapit sa MPV, pero may ramp para sa wheeled cargo.
Short-Sea Ro-Ro (European Shuttle)
Maliit na Ro-Ro vessels para sa maiikling European routes: United Kingdom ↔ Ireland, United Kingdom ↔ Benelux, Baltic. Biyahe — 12–36 oras, 2–3 port calls bawat linggo. Rotation — 2–4 linggo, ang pinakamaikli sa cargo fleet. Crew — 14–20 katao.

Ramps at Cargo Operations
Loading/discharging sa pamamagitan ng stern ramp — ito ang pangunahing operasyon. Ang Chief Officer ang namamahala sa: pag-aayos ng trailers sa decks (stowage plan), stability control dahil bawat trailer ay may ibang bigat, at inspection ng lashing.
