The vessel’s Technical Manager/Supt is responsible for monitoring and recording all Charterers and crewell’ Inspections. The Master is responsible for advising the Company of all inspections carried out.
Each vessel may be, with the Owner’s permission inspected by Charterers.
Reports received by the Company are scrutinized and if deficiencies are noted, the vessel is instructed to take corrective action.
Form “ Non Conformance Rpt” to be used for each deficiency and to be properly closed out with corrective and preventive actions. The Technical Manager/Superintendent is responsible for informing the inspecting company that all deficiencies are corrected.
Should corrective action require a period of time to rectify, the Technical Manager/Superintendent is to advise the inspecting company of this fact immediately.
