Probably no other profession in the world raises as many questions as the profession of a sailor. Many parents think about what profession to choose for their children, where to send them to study in order to provide them with a normal and even good life. But it is important to remember that each person must consciously approach the choice of profession. Decide what he would like to do. Understand where his skills and abilities would be most in demand. All the positive features of working on a ship Many young people choose the very difficult profession of a sailor for the opportunity to earn money. Of course, in the past, the earnings of sailors were very different from the earnings of those who were on land. However, today there are a huge number of professions that provide the opportunity to earn money without going to the open sea. But this profession provides another significant advantage - independence. You can feel more confident and independent both financially and in all sorts of everyday situations. In addition, everything a sailor earns is absolutely honest money. Each navigator has a strict goal and systematically moves towards its implementation. He strives to improve his professional qualities, promotion and, as a result, increase in wages. Yes, rapid career growth is possible at sea. And by the age of 30 you can become a senior engineer or captain. This is a great incentive for development. And with the position, the salary itself will increase. According to ordinary people, romance is the main reason why they join the navy. And only the sailors themselves know that all the romance quickly disappears after the hard everyday life of responsible work on the ship. It is believed that working at sea helps broaden a person's horizons by interacting with people from other countries in trading ports and even on the ship itself. After all, people from different nations and nationalities often gather there. In addition, you will be able to improve your knowledge of foreign languages in practice. In the modern world, the ability to speak English quickly and correctly is always and everywhere useful. And it doesn’t matter whether you work at sea or on the shore. An important feature for this profession is also character education. The sea can strengthen the spirit. Yes, we agree, the maritime profession is one of the most difficult. But it is precisely this that can prepare a person for all possible difficulties, teach him to value life and relationships with other people. Not everything is easy and simple As in any other profession, there are also disadvantages. The first and most noticeable is separation from loved ones. Perhaps this is the most difficult thing that the sailors themselves and their families experience. After all, it is difficult not only for those who are at sea, but also for those who are waiting on the shore. But with time and promotion, opportunities open up to get contracts not only long-term, but, for example, for two months. During a voyage, each sailor is subject to a great psychological burden. After all, there are always the same people around him, and there is nowhere to go, there is only the sea around him. In this profession, not the least important place is occupied by interpersonal relationships and the microclimate in the team. If you are lucky with your team and captain, then your work will be a joy. The absence of ordinary everyday joys that are available in ordinary life also affects. And of course, working at sea is always a risk. A sailor risks every minute. Of course, there are many pros and cons to being a sailor. But for those who decide to connect their lives with the sea, we wish you seven feet under the keel!
