Maintaining and monitoring the validity of Trading Certificates, Equipment Certificates, Class Surveys, Life Saving Appliance, Fire Fighting Appliances and Gas Detectors Record up keeping – Accidents and Near Misses reports and KPI for all vessels in the fleet Validity of trading and equipment certificates is to be check thru x-D.204a & b – Record Ship Certificates – sent by vessels. Notify respective Technical Manager/Superintendent of expiring trading and equipment certificates. Make necessary arrangement for re-validation of trading and equipment certificates upon instruction from respective Technical Managers/Superintendent. If expiry date is nearing and no action is taken from Technical Managers/Superintendent notification to General Manager is to be made. Verify available sea job vacancies on board fleet Record up keeping – Monthly Safety Reports for all vessels in the fleet Maintaining Marine  Safety Department files and documents Responsible for arranging vessel’s Radio Accounting Contracts with various Accounting Authorities and for arranging activation, de-activation and re-activation of vessel’s Inmarsat terminals Applying for renewal of Radio Station License before expiry Applying for renewal of Shore Based Maintenance Certificate for all vessels Download Class survey status every month and advise Technical Managers of any upcoming surveys. A copy of the download Class Status report is to be email to vessel Sending packages to vessels via courier as directed by Managers Opening and distribu ting of incoming office mails Processing of telephone bills/ courier service bills Office Equipment – To call in service/ maintenance when machine is not in order Assists in any other administrative duties when called Welcome to apply for Ashore vacancies
