Why Chief Engineers Prefer Direct Hire Maritime Recruitment
For Senior Officers and Chief Engineers, direct communication with shipowners is critical. Traditional crewing agencies often fail to provide complete technical transparency about the vessel and machinery condition.
Direct Contact with Technical Superintendent
Your CV goes directly to the Technical Superintendent, allowing discussion of propulsion systems, dry dock history, retrofitting plans and operational expectations.
Vessel Transparency & PSC History
Before applying, seafarers can review vessel PSC history, Crew Reviews, engine specifications and Class Society information through the Vessel Database.
No Crew Commissions
Seafarers receive full contract salary without hidden deductions or agency fees.
Faster Rotation Planning
Direct communication with Crewing Department allows earlier planning of back-to-back rotations and rejoining schedules.
Better Contract Negotiation
Chief Engineers can directly discuss salary packages, joining bonuses, rotation length and employment conditions.
